Professional English
Going into Business
The first in our professional English courses is designed for students and employees with an intermediate level of English and enables you to consolidate your skills in a professional context. The emphasis is on the use of the language in authentic situations. This course also aims to develop the knowledge and skills required to pass the exams organised by the University of Cambridge (BEC Peliminary,) as well as the TOEIC Bridge.
The starting level of ability corresponds to A2/B1 (Threshold) on the Common European Framework
Business is Business
The second level professional English course is for students and employees with an upper-intermediate level of English. These modules enable you to consolidate your use of grammar and vocabulary, making you more at ease in an English-speaking professional environment. At the end of the course you should be able to pass the BEC Vantage exam and/or get a good TOEIC score.
Business Missions
This course will greatly improve you ability to understand and communicate in a wide variety of professional situations. At the end of the course you will be able to recognise and use a wide range of idiomatic expressions and express yourself fluently, accurately and spontaneously on a wide range of topics with good grammatical control and a broad lexical repertoire.
At the end of the course you will be ready to take the BEC Higher examination organized by Cambridge ESOL and improve your TOEIC score.
This English for Law course will enable you to:
* read a variety of legal documents and understand them in detail
* interpret legal rulings in Britain and Europe
* listen to legal practitioners talking and follow what they say
* draft correspondence & contracts in English to a high degree of accuracy
* use English to explain technical concepts and French legal terminology
* interact with clients and provide clear legal advice
* develop an extensive professional vocabulary
The course is also an in-depth preparation for the International Legal English Certificate (ILEC).
