CARRY ON: Level B1 (Intermediate 1)
Based on various documents taken from the press, the radio and internet, the Carry On course aims to develop your global understanding of written English and to help you express yourself effectively in ordinary social contexts. GO AHEAD: Level B2 (Intermediate 2)

The course highlights how grammar and vocabulary depend on the social situation and introduces you to different styles of English. The work on reading and listening skills is designed to help you understand a spoken or written text in fine detail. You will also learn how to write effectively for a given purpose and for a specific readership. At this B2 level you will have every chance of passing the First Certificate of English (FCE) examination.

At this level the aim is to use the resources of the language to their full extent in a variety of social, professional and academic contexts.
At this level, you are well prepared to take the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) examination organised by the University of Cambridge.
MASTERWORK Level C2 (Mastery)
The nec plus ultra. At this level you will be able to talk and write about complex or sensitive problems, understand colloquial references and deal confidently with the most abstract or challenging issues. You will also develop your writing skills so as to be master the styles necessary when drafting longer documents for different situations (reports, minutes, emails, articles, research papers etc. requiring near total accuracy). At the end of the course, you would normally take the CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English).
Note that either the CAE or CPE is required for non-native students wishing to study in British universities.
